According to Linchpin SEO, 17 of the 100 top-selling books on Kindle were self-published. While we can debate whether e-books will completely transform the publishing industry, the undeniable fact is that due to COVID, individual digital consumption is at an all time high.
And E-book sales and consumption have clearly benefitted from this trend.
But the real upside is in the emerging market. Industry stats indicate that nearly 70% of readers still read in print. But as our lives re-emerge post COVID and we once again can resume social activity, we are anticipating that more traditional readers just might be enticed by the convenience of e-books.
